Introductory 1st blog

Hello fellow classmates! My name is Robin Jeffrey, and I'm very excited about meeting everyone that is in my Computer Applications for Education class. I have a confession to make: I am computer stupid. Stupid might be a little harsh, so maybe I should say computer ignorant, or computer no comprende. Don't get me wrong, I can email and get through a word document (barely), but I definitely need a class on computer operations. I hope that I am not the only one, and I am hoping that I might learn more about computers from this class.
The picture on the right was the only one I had access to at the moment. I will add google +, so I can access the pictures on my phone. You might have guessed that I am the one on the right. The handsome man with me is my boyfriend, Tony. That was last December when we were at Bellingraph Gardens for the Christmas light show. He is an engineer on a seismograph ship, so he is offshore 5 weeks and home 5 weeks. When he is home, we spend all our time together. We both love to go out in the bass boat; he fishes; I read. We love going to the hunting camp and riding the four wheeler through the woods at night, or day. It's more scarier at night! When he's not home, I focus on my school work; spend time with my mom and my two dogs. One of my hobbies is rock and fossil collecting; I have rocks with sea dwellers in them and one that looks like an acorn. I also love to do jigsaw puzzles, sudoku puzzles, and travel anywhere.
My career goals are to graduate from USM in elementary education with endorsements in Science and Social Studies. I plan on incorporating technology in my classrooms because that is the world we live in today. Computers are everywhere and everyone needs to be computer literate. I may need to take some basic computer courses before I start teaching!! Good luck to everyone! SMTTT
